Panomrunglek Kiatmuu 9

Panomrunglek Kiatmuu 9 started out in MuayThai at the age of 10 training in his village in Buriram province. He started out under the watchful eye of Mr Sutjai Pumprakon and very quickly started to make a name for himself. Fighting at first around Buriram province and then later further afield in the Northeast he won his first title 'champion of northeast Thailand' at 25 kilos. fighting regularly around the northeast he was soon a name on everybodys lips as a future star. He won the northeast title again this time at 30 kilos and carried on with a lot of success often in fights involving big side bets between his and his opponents camps. When he grew big enough to fight in Bangkok there was no end of promoters wishing to sign up this very talented technical fighter to fight on their promotions.
Panomrungleks technical style soon made him a big hit at Lumpini stadium and in 2002 Panomrunglek had a busy year, winning the Toyota Marathon at 115 pounds and the 13th Isuzu cup tournament as well, beating Wangwiset Lukbanyai in the final. In 2003 Panomrunglek won yet another title to add to his collection beating Namsuk Petchsuphapaan on points to take the Lumpini stadium flyweight title.
With Panomrunglek still only 20 years old and there being a dearth of talent at his weight, there are many more big fights to come for him. Sam A Thor Ratonkiat and Petch Por Burapha just two of the big names being mentioned. A shot at the Lumpini superflyweight title is also beckoning and Panomrunglek got 2004 of to a flying start outclassing Namsuk again and getting the vote for fighter of the month for February from Lumpini stadium. Panomrunglek looks to be a star that will keep shining brightly and along with his stablemate Singdam, this can only mean good things for his camp Kiatmuu 9.
