3 Out of 3We had 3 fighters out over the weekend, first 2 fighters was Jamie Sutton & Jordan Kilbride who fought in Hamilton Scotland..First to fight was Jamie v local fighter Sean Thompson, Thompson started the aggressive throwing kick and knee combos, Jamie caught him with some very heavy hard kicks which seemed to worry Thompson, Jamie then moved in with clinch and knee working on the same leg Thompson took an 8 count and was unable to continue Jamie won Round 1 TKO Next was Jordan v John Shaw from Scotland, Shaw weighing 3kg heavier. Shaw also very aggressive Jordan kept him at bay with nice clean pushkicks & strong knees, Jordan had Shaw in trouble several times but did not finish him due to poor stamina. In the 4th round Shaw came in very aggressive Jordan went to the ground with Shaw still trying to knee, the ref jumped in with Shaw catching the ref in the shoulder with a knee taking his shoulder clean out!!!! after a change of ref, round 5 was the same with Shaw the aggressor till the end, Winner Jordan on Pts Sunday Burmantofts Leeds, Shaq v Declan Simpson, Shaq weighed in heavy for the fight by 1.6kg but the other gym accepted the fight due to him having more experience, this was a very skillfull fight from 2, 7 year olds both boxing ,clinch & knee & kicks with Shaq showing very nice clean pushkicks which was the winning factor in the fight,Winner, Shaq on pts .Well done both juniors.
