News, Events & Results - Review of 2004Dean Whites Gym year ending 2004This year as been another good year for Dean Whites Gym even with a lot of main fighters unable to get too many matches. We have 14 fighters in top 10 rankings more than any other camp in Britain with others to be put in next rankings. We also had 19 new fighters make 1st time apperances with a record of 15W 2L 2D in each of their first fights. We had new arrival Steve Donelly who had lost his last 13 fights with other gyms fighting in his 1st fight in Scotland winning on pts against a local fighter. Most improved fighter was Stuart Kemp who won an area title by TKO & won vastly more experienced fighter Brocky (Andy Brocklebank) from Elite gym giving 3kg away. Watch out for bigger things from Kemp in 2005. We also had fighters who competed and won against Dutch, Belguim, Swedish, Thai, Ukraine & French fighters. The total fight record with all fighters were 51F 40W 6L 5D. Many thanks to Dale, Sandra, Shorty, Vinny, Tobes & all of the gang I have not mentioned.
